Tauranga Airshow 2018

Tauranga hosted a mini airshow on Saturday 20th January 2018 from 3-6pm  due to high cost of airshows so the format was good and a good display for all to see.

Despite the Avenger failed to turn up ,the replacement Venom was a bonus as well as RNZAF restored Havard ZK-RNZ which were both on static display and the P40 replaced the Mustang at Ardmore due to technical difficulties so thanks to the Needham family in bringing their P40 for display.

The rebuilt  Avenger which was restored by the Classic Flyers restoration team with another on the way for the same treatment.

RNZAF latest trainer is TextronTexan II NZ1405  which brought 5 others to form the new Falcon display team.
